About Us

Off The Leash (OTL as we call it) is owned and operated by Ralph Gasbarro and Emily McHugh.

About 8 years ago, Ralph was very lucky to find a job doing what he truly loved, working with dogs. For 5 years, he worked for one of the first doggie daycare establishments in Portland , Oregon. He was mentored by one of the finest ladies around, learned the ins and outs of doggie daycare and became a Certified Obedience Instructor from Animal Behavior College .

Filled with love and respect for dogs, Ralph and Emily set back home across the country to open their very own doggie daycare establishment. The goal was to set up a place where parents felt comfortable leaving their furry family member, for the day or the week, without any guilt or worry whatsoever and where our canine friends could run, play and rest off the leash.

So far, we have shared our lives with an incredible number of dogs, each unique and amazing in their own special ways. For that, we consider ourselves very lucky. We promise that we will continue to strive to be the best at what we do, provide your family with top notch service and provide you with the convenience of it all in one spot!
