Doggie of the Month

Hi, my name is Mr. Finnegan.

I’m a miniature poodle, almost 2 years old. Don’t be fooled by the formality of my name or breed; I’ll answer to just about anything, Finnegan, Fin, Mr. F, Mister almost anything but ‘come’:) – sorry Mom. I know my commands. I graduated from OTL School when I was 7 months old. I just have a mind of my own. For instance my Mom has bells at our back door that she ‘trained’ me to ring if I want to go outside; but I’ve trained her to come to the back door when I ring the bells, sometimes I really need to go outside other times I just want to play!! I LOVE to PLAY!! That is why I love coming to OTL to play with my friends – I have so much FUN! I also love the baths and haircuts Vanessa gives me – she makes me look good (what do you think – how do I look?)

When I’m not at OTL I spend my time greeting every neighbor that walks by my house, taking long naps and spending time at my Grandma & Papa’s house. I also enjoy going to the dog park running circles around the other dogs (I’m fast!), playing ‘chase me I have a stick’, going to the beach, running in the water and chasing after the ducks. Boy, I wish I could fly…….Like Michelle says – I’m the happiest dog alive – why not? Life sure is good!
